ok, revision three here:
i tried to put the caps closer to the ucc's, and improve the general layout of the board according to what you guys have said. hope this is better. -ben

Well i'm a newbie but i'll give you my .02 cents. LOL It looks like it matches your initial schematic ok. I was woried about the irf520 source not being on the same ground plain as the 74ls14n but I see where you snaked it around on the bottom.
Are you going to photo etch this somehow? I have had bad luck free handing multiple traces under ICs like you have under the 74ls14.

yea, i do photoetch, and i am actualy posing this while its being exposed. look at uzzors's site, he has some good stuff on photoetching. i used to do toner transfer, but the quality sucked, so i build a uv led box.

Not to be picky or critical, but the 1N4004s you have chosen are probably not going to do too much for you as output clamps on the UCC27321/2 parts. They're a bit slow and high VF. Footprint is fine but it'll be much better off with some Schottkys.
As for the gate drive decoupling - Whenever I build this circuit, I straddle the + and - rail of the UCC2732x chips with a 1uF X7R and 10uF X5R ceramic cap dead under the IC on the bottom of the card. You can snake enable and RF drive signals right under the cap if it's a 1206 or 1210 part. You won't get a lower inductance path into the die than that.

For power supply bypassing of gate drive ICs, I got good results using electrolytics only. My last couple of drivers used one 330uF low ESR per chip. It seems like a lot of capacitance, but I think it's useful to have an energy reservoir there for driving a burst into some large IGBTs.
If using ceramic decoupling caps, it's wise to have an electrolytic in there somewhere too. The ESR damps resonances in the power bus.
