Well for some reason it isn't creative for me, its survival. no bedrock breaking to item spawning, no flying.

I have no idea why it would do that, are you running the latest minecraft version?

If you're ever on the server at the same time as I am I'll force your user to creative mode.

Before I say anything else, those did use m server and not the otherone by now know it has been down a while, I need to move it somewhere are I need m computer's power for Maya.

And having a server going on and offline a lot is rather annoying, so...

If people still want to get a community server going, I can still volunteer my server machine if there are enough people to warrant putting it in a atacenter (where it is right now the connection doesn't support it).
I can cover more of the costs since the server is dual use,

The server would be on a 100Mbps connection (up and down) and the only minecraft limiting detail at the moment would be the RAM, which right now is at 3GB but can upgrade.

I'm looking at a few places in my area to host my box, as dedicated server leasing is much more expensive and shared servers may not be the wisest option in terms of performance.
The cheapest plan is $50 a month with unlimited bandwidth at 10Mbps up/down, then $100 at 100Mbps up/down with 1TB/month bandwidth (I would cover $10 personally, then the rest diveded amongst users) and I get 5 IPs, three of which I could set aside for separate minecraft servers or other things.

Just in case anyone's still interested.

Well it's official, I am putting one of my servers in a datacenter.

Running one instance of Craftbukkit, with the Multiverse plugin installed. Also some misc plugins like Anti-Creeper and GriefLogger. Server is running with 16 GB of RAM, 2x Dual Core Xeons @ 2.67 GHz. Right now it is on my home connection, but on Monday it is being moved to the datacenter where it will have a 100 Mbps Up/Down connection.

I am planning on adding a 4hv world to the Multiverse, and can add anyone here who wants in.

The server is currently online as I get it ready for going into the datacenter, PM me for the address (not fully public quite yet).

Moved the server to the datacenter this morning!

the address is "nyancat.nom.co" or "gawsolutions.us" (both point to the same place). If you want to check your connection speed to the server, go to 'gawsolutions.us/speedtest'

there are two worlds for 4hv, a survival and a creative.

PM me and I'll add you to the 4hv group, or message me on the server (username is dajjhman, same as here. Those who already PM'd me have been added)

To access the 4hv worlds once I add you, type
'/mv tp 4hv' or '/mv tp 4hv-creative'

you can also get back to the first world by typing:
'/mv tp world'

There are still some things being sorted out, but feel free to mess around. Let me know if you find anything problematic.

Unless there is a lot of interest in generating other worlds, or opening the 4hv world to the public, then this server will be maintained at my own expense. (my business and some clients have colluded to rent the datacenter space, this is just piggybacking on it).

I will also be looking for volunteer admins, and will be taking suggestions on worlds or campaigns.

I've got a server as well! It's hosted on my own computer, since I have a pretty decent upload speed and a powerful computer as well (not as powerful as DaJJHman's dedicated server, though). The server isn't open yet as I'm still building the last of the three cities and finishing up permissions, but it should be done by this Friday. So far I've got 15 awesome plugins and a good peaceful city where you can spawn and create stores to sell items to other players. There are be two factions on the server, and they are "at war" with each other anywhere outside of the main city or a few other areas.

The server will be open to the public and I should have a website shortly as well! I'll post the address of the server when it's finished, but if you want to log on and get started early you can send me a pm. I could definitely use some more moderators and people to help finish up and test out permissions, plugins, etc., so if you check out the server and think you like where it's going you can apply to be a moderator on the website once it is up.
