So are you going to put it on offline mode at least until I buy MC?

I really would rather not it if would allow people to log in as someone else as was mentioned before and it makes protecting against griefers harder (I have the Grieflogger plugin for craftbukkit, but it is a bit too thorough for the average erver).
Any idea how long it would need to be in offline mode?
I also would have to take off any op statuses and take some other measures as I would want anything we make to be kept safe.

I probably won't have enough to buy MC for a few weeks. Do you think you could use a whitelist?

I'll think about it, maybe move the world just in case.

A whitelist is ineffective when anyone can log in as anyone else.

Right so the creaper hole and bedrock was username _xen0n_ hes a irl friend that found the server address and came on to have some fun droping creepers on me and incassing me in bedrock. Hes a skilled builder so give him a warning and somehow he was on creative??? how? because id love that server to be creative. hes in the same time zone as me so maybee just give me the ability to kick him if he gets up to trouble?

ps; he didn't touch the piston doors. he wouldn't destroy something that was already built. just me XD

Everyone should be on creative mode, as I already set that.
You should have been able to break the bedrock (though maybe only op can do that, which I can)
You fly by double tapping.
My servers are NEVER Vanilla, ever. like he said.

And I'll warn him, and let me know if he's still problematic then I'll add him to the blacklist

I take all issues on my server seriously and personally and a detriment to the community.

Your server's going to be in creative mode? In that case, don't even bother with offline mode...

It has been in creative mode, as I said in the first post with the server details.
I would turn offline mode on, but validating users is important, especially with the user _xen0n_ that mattster_mac had a run in with (though it seems like just a little bit of a prank from someone he knows but it demonstrates my point)

Well for some reason it isn't creative for me, its survival. no bedrock breaking to item spawning, no flying.
