 		FKP1 are very similar construction to CDE 942. They probably perform about the same, but the CDE 942 is probably cheaper in the USA because they're made there.

 		If I were to choose between 2 possible tank cap, Which one should I choose>?

A MMC using a MKT targeting to make 3200v @ 0.168uf from plenty of 330nf/600v

OR

a home made capacitor, Probably foil type rated 15kv/150nf


Which of these two will work for the best??

 		MKT is polyester if I remember correctly, which has a loss factor several times higher than polypropylene. I would say get some MKP caps.

 		what do you mean by loss factor? does it mean that The performance form a MKT cap is much much lesser than with MKP?

 		He has a point, MKT and MKS are indeed polyester (aka Mylar) Look for MKP or FKP instead.

T stands for terephthalate or whatever the chemical name for Mylar is.
