Maybe I'll try and squeeze 30 turns on it before I give up on it.. Might not look pretty but I'll get em on..

Based on this...

I think 4 and 7 will be the lowest voltage coil, but that may cuase insuffcient A-t since its meant for a tube heater...

I discovered that most ordinary flyback's internal diodes tend to fail if driven wiht external windings. You will still have HV but instead 30kV you get 15kV or less and a lot current, (appropriate for jacob's ladder perhaps?).
