Anyone else caught up in the epic time-suck that is Minecraft? I tried it a few times and it didn't really appeal to me until I decided to check out multiplayer. People are doing some really amazing things!

Don't get me started on how much time one can pour into minecraft... I spent half a week making a roller coaster where at the end the walls cascade around you and reveals lava chasing you.
then I tried making a 25x25x25 cube of TNT, and gave my server 8GB of RAM (took forever to realize I needed Java 64-bit for that!).... I became even more addicted.

The thing I love about Minecraft is the infinite freedom you have. It's also a lot like computer Legos! I seem to mine for a while, them build a couple castles, then not play for a couple months. Then start over.

I tried it, even the multiplayer mode, and it was OK, I guess, but I didn't want it to eat my life as I have school to concern about, 3.5 more years to be exact. Especially now. I shouldn't be on the forum... I need to be doing my HW! So...
