As of now, I'm not sure. If it does pass, it'll definitely be shot down in the Supreme court as a violation of the right to Free Speech. I don't care about the "without due process" bit everyone spreads around. One case will eventually get in and then it'll be destroyed.


The main reason I think that it may pass is partially because almost all of the people who are for it don't even know what the internet is, much less how huge of a thing it is for the current generation. They don't understand the implications they are driving with trying to pass the law.

I fully understand their meanings, but they're just doing it completely wrong. Similar to the NDAA.

A bit annoying, but this guy thinks that a previous court ruling can overturn the SOPA act.
Interesting either way as to who distributed the pirate software in the first place.
