I would have to agree with WaveRider on his point about efficiency of government agencies. I have seen first hand how bureaucracy can slow tasks that take five minutes into three hour debates between departments. I personally believe the government isn't our problem, it's the ignorance within the population.

I agree, except for the further observation that the government is made of the same kind of people as the population.

Ockham's Razor: There's no need to invoke conspiracy theories, when ordinary bureaucracy, stupidity, selfishness and corruption is a quite adequate explanation for everything that goes wrong.

Jpsmith123 shows all the characteristics and rhetorical tricks of a true believer, as defined by Eric Hoffer. For example, FDR suckering the US into WW2 is a plausible straw man, but the assertions ramp up in craziness from there. I'm just glad he left off the final most controversial one.

Hoffer is of course just part of the conspiracy because of his Jewish-sounding name.

That would be your first, and for purposes of further analysis, fatal mistake. People who seek power have a bad habit of being psychopaths/sociopaths. Generally speaking, our self-selected elite are not like you and I. I think that's rather obvious, but it's been studied:

I used to see things just the way you apparently do. I was indoctrinated and brainwashed just like everybody else. But then some things happened that forced me to become a student of History. Then the internet came along, and I had access to information that I never had access to before. Then it was just a simple matter of taking some generally accepted facts and applying some simple reasoning. But you have to be honest with yourself and go where the facts lead. And that's where most people fail... it's just too painful to accept that we're living in a self-imposed fantasy land. So I almost don't blame you.

Well, I think you are living in a self-imposed fantasy land and everything you said applies in reverse. I think you have been indoctrinated and brainwashed by conspiracy theorists. Don't you see the symmetry?

I certainly do believe in evil, and I believe it has a face much like Hoffer's "true believer" fanatics. People who think in black and white, who believe that absolute truth exists, that they understand it, and everyone else is wrong or deluded.

How about, instead of your ad hominem and your dismissive rhetoric, please feel free to offer a compelling argument as to why we should not believe Zionist Jewish defector Benjamin Freedman, for example.

Then, please explain what we're seeing in this video, if it's not what the author says it is:

Then, please offer an exculpatory explanation for this damning little piece of investigative journalism:

You ask why you should not believe Benjamin Freedman, and you quote the reference above? I started reading it and find it the most non-sensical piece of horse crap that I have read in some time. The sentences make little sense; the arguments end with no resolution.

Here is one quote from your reference

So this person is saying that it is a sin for all banks to charge interest? Is this person saying that Christians and Moslems drove Jews out because the Jews charged interest on money? Is this the best you can do? Every paragraph is just like this one. I suggest you start some medication, and don't look towards the Jews as the source of your problems. Look in a mirror and it may become clearer to you if you are fortunate.

Well, all I'm hearing are bare assertions made by conspiracy theorists, quoted by jpsmith123 who asks us to believe them because someone posted them on the Internet. I don't see why I should alter my belief system to suit those texts.

Please folks, open minded but not so open your brain falls out. And not so closed that you accidentally squish it, either. This thread is likely to get locked soon, as the masonic lizard elite strike another nail in the coffin of truth.
