I think it's the lack of noobs really. I remember the old forum had quite a few new threads starting each day but most of them dealt with old topics. I sort of miss it, I'm terrible with solid state things and enjoyed answering the old SGTC questions : p

<Oh, but there are noobs... < <
By noobs I think he probably meant noob amateurs, or hobbyists, entering the forum. Most people here either have amazing aptitudes for this sort of stuff, are qualified already, or are studying towards it. Then their are people like myself who do this just as a hobby, and only have a minimal grounding. Most guys here know 500% more than I ever will.

A lack of posts doesn't mean a lack of interest. Personally I'm still very much a learner with HV electronics, and I'm not really doing much in the way of practical stuff, apart from occasional PC repair work, for health reasons. However I am regularly enjoying reading and learning from what others post here.
We're currently having a heatwave here in the UK, and most people want to be outdoors enjoying it while they can, before the more usual British weather returns. I'm sure it'll pick up again in time.

I'd probably have a to more to talk about if I wasn't trying to move and look for a new job at the same time. Seems like everytime I'm moving I have about 50 things I wanna try and build I should be done within a week or so I hope.
