Hi Sir,

That is my problem, I don't know how to know if the phasing is correct or wrong; and how to correct it if its wrong? Can you give me some tips how to do it right? The easiest way I hope... =( thank you very much.. I don't have any scope =(

Test the coil at low voltage/limited current and make sure it's oscillating.

IS it true that I can change the phasing (correct phasing) if I change the GDT and the primary coil connections?

I measured the voltage from both output of 74hc00 using multi meter tester. It is around 4.3 volts dc. (of course it varies when I move the pots of interrupter

Also, the output of the driver is around 8 to 14 vdc.. Is this good output? Thank you.

Hi,
what you really want to do is to look at the voltages with an oscilloscope, a DC voltage measurement really doesn't tell much.

Dr. KV,

Yes, I think MMT is not sufficient, =l ,, but i don't have an oscilloscope either. My DR makes wimpy sparks when I am trying to input more voltage from VAriac, I can hear that the frequency (prF) IS increasing simultaneously. What phenomena is this? I think the feedback is working but with problems too =(,. tonight I will get video of my problem the upload, I hope you can help,. thank you very much..

I think the increasing frequency problem is because the interference is fed back into your interrupter. Try using another IC for the interrupter, or put it in a grounded metal enclosure.

Dr. KV,

I will try your proposed solution and post the result later. Also, Is the circuit logic board requires to be shielded (means earth grounded metal case)?

Hi,
I always put signal-level circuits into a shielded enclosure when operated near a TC resonator. The reason for this is that the capacitive current from the secondary coil can mess up sensitive circuits.
