he just used standard pipe fittings for the CO2 chamber. In fact, you could built the entire chamber with a trip to the hardware store and a well equipped sporting goods store (which sells paintball equipment, which are powered by CO2 tanks in which it is stored as a liquid).
I think I'm gonna try this out once I finish my CNC machine rebuild. Must... Avoid... poly-projectitis!

Just be sure to mind your pressures, a 2" black malleable iron tee is only rated for 150PSI (says mcmaster) vs a 2" forged steel tee which is good for 3000psi One of these will work for you, one of these not so much!
