Hi Platinum !
How many turns the feedback coil has ?
How many turns the primary coil has ??
Can you take the secondary coil out and run the circuit only with the ferrite, primary and feedback coil ?
Can you take some pictures what you have built ??
What kind of power supply do you have "?
Regards
Newton
Feedback has 4 primary has 7
Btw I don't have a working camera anymore. But I have a webcam.
What do you mean with only the ferrite? remove the flyback secondary.
I have a 12V 32A PS3 PSU.
Thanks for the help.
I'm going to use the flyback that came with the TV, but I must say it is clone of the one I'm using now, same stickers, same manufacturers, and the same lines of serial numbers (first 6 number are the same and last 5 and different) , and exact same look.

Yes, remove the secondary coilfrom the ferrite. The secondary coil may have a internal short circuit preventing the oscilations. In order to verify the circuit without the secondary, wind a additiona coil to the ferrite. This coil may have 6 turns and to is be connected to a 12V small bulb. If the oscillator is ok the bulb will glow.

Thanks for the suggestion but it did not work, I appreciate your help.
I went down to maplins today and wired up a 2n3055 and it worked! but that was pretty disappoint compared to my PC PSU flyback which I had 3 flybacks in series which was outputting about 65KV.
So I bought a 200W halogen transformer (check my thread on these drivers) and I was wondering is there anyway I can increase output of the halogen transformer?

WTH!
I have a low power CFL ballast 15W running a flyback just from it, normally it arcs just 3mm, I put a small cpacitor 500v in series with one of the CFL's outputs and it now arcs about 10mm, please tell me why?
Just soldered 3 together and now the flyback arc is longer and is white, not purple, indicating higher current, please tell me why it's doing this.

I've add three and the arc is white-ish so there is more current all I need now is some nice HV caps for a tesla coil, 15W tesla coil lol, still works.
I just added another capacitor, output was 3mm with none caps (3~KV) now after 4 capacitors in series output is 44mm (44KV?~) I'm stunned please can someone explain how this is working, there is more current and voltage.
The CFL has finally internally arced over as the flyback voltage was going back in to the CFL, I couldn't stop it I added one more cap to the cap bank and the flyback was arcing 48mm's, incredible still don't know how.

It looks like you're onto something, Platinum. Stick with it and post your results.
My guess is that it might be 'tricking' the regulator in the CFL transformer into supplying more power, by changing the load characteristics, but this is only a guess.

Ash, the I think you are right, somehow the capacitors are bypassing the load of the CFL. It says 15W max yet the transistors (13003) are together 40w, but the flyback's output was astonishing was much more than any 2n3055 (44mm arc, white) the current CFL arced over internally so when I get another one I'll post a vid with cap's and without. It even worked with another CFL.
