...when you spent most your money on your projects
...when you have played with a couple 100KVA pigs whos insulators stand taller than you (over 6ft)
...when your room is a clutter mess of parts
...when you have over 8 TC secondaries in your room
...when you have parents who say "Why was this in my sock?" -- A cut-piece of resistor lead.
...when you spend a lot of time cleaning an IGBT / components to make them shine
...when you have the bug in you that says MORE POWER!!!!! even though you cant manage it.
...when this is your wallpaper: Link2
...when you find your self wanting large switches just because the loud clack they make, sounds really cool n makes you think your project is badass.

....when you find yourself praying to Nikola Tesla.

....when your pharmacist wonders why you want to order 4 gallons of mineral oil.

....when you upload a video to YouTube of you electrocuting insects with your MOT.

....when people think you've totally lost your mind when you tell them that you are busy mounting a flyback.

....when you go insane because the doorbell rang while you were half-way into winding a tesla coil secondary.

....when you buy a case of Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs and don't use them for light, but rather as ready-made flyback drivers.

(I can keep on going, but that's enough for now!!!)

...when, on the the first day that you have your license and a car, you bring home a tv, microwave, stereo, ceiling fan, arc welder, and printer that you received from family, friends, and the side of the road.
... when you can't take your girlfriend home because your car is full of the items mentioned above.
... when you notice any unplugged appliances at the houses of family and friends, and offer to take them off their hands if they're broken.
...when your mother asks if you are drunk, or are you on a "parts high" after you bring home a bunch of junk and are in a very good mood.
...when street lights go out every time you walk by them on campus, likely out of fear. (happens every night atleast once, it's kind of freaky)
...when you sit near a van de graaf for 4 hours and then continue to spark to everything (like potted plants) for the rest of the day.
...when you take a 400v 2400uf capacitor discharge arm to arm and your remedy for the lasting feeling is a beer.
...when labels like "warning" and "lethal" become synonyms for "fun" and "exciting" to you.
...when you don't pay attention to your math class's lecture on 'not-a-knot cubic interpolating splines' to write replies to 4hv threads.

...When your capacitor bank alone far outwiegh your own bodywieght.
...When you spend the better part of the day, and continue to stay all night up designing a circuit for a project.
...When said circuit has kept you up to 5:30am and you reply to threads like this instead of going to salvage what little sleep time is left.
...When You start to remember 100s of IC part numbers without even needing to google for the datasheet.

Im going to sleep now.
