Huh, if that is nano, I must wonder what would be a giga or tera VTTC for you then? suprised

How do you control the attitude of the spark in second video (from very branched to relatively straight-flailing-whippy)?

What do you think of this at the expense of power?

If you want to use that circuit for a VTTC, you will need a filament transformer with pri-sec insulation rated at least for 3 kV, this means you'll most likely need to wind a special transformer for your application.

nice coil. Do you plan to use a coil with a higher resonance around 400khz? How much power are you sucking from the wall?

I like the way the spark dances I wonder if a higher frequency would make it more sword like. you might reach the sealing then

In the "nano VTTC" it looks like there are two types of modulation one that branches and one that makes the spark turn into a columb or combine. What exactly are you doing to make that happen. I am thinking is it pausible to make a VTTC that has a some what directible arc and i have been told that it is frequency 350 khz to 500 is the magic frequency for sword sparks but also modulatin to the power is necisary to grow the spark and thats how Phillip Slawinski gets the length in your last thread for the gmi-38.

Wow, beautiful!! The first streamers emerging from the toroid itself on a VTTC setup. Great!
