But you personally don't think anything is wrong when the government can designate some inconvenient person as an "enemy combatant" or "terrorist" or "terrorist supporter" or "9/11 truther" or [insert your favorite label here], put them on a list and then harass them, put them in a torture camp somewhere, seize their assets, murder them in cold blood, etc., all without any semblance of "due process" whatsoever, right?
By murdering U.S. citizen Anwar al-Awlaki whose only apparent "crime" was delivering anti-U.S. government sermons (and who can blame anybody for that, at this sorry point in time), President Hopey-Changey has now formally trashed what was left of the Fifth Amendment and the First Amendment.
Anwar al-Awlaki may go down in History as being the first U.S. citizen openly and officially murdered by the U.S. government for saying the wrong things; i.e., he may be the first U.S. citizen officially executed for thought crime (in this case opposing the U.S. government's senseless and self-destructive bloody imperialism).
