Child abuse...should not be allowed.

I guess it must be self-limiting though because the generation educated in this way won`t be able to function well enough in society to continue propagating this stuff.

I think my algebra teacher wrote that book. She was pretty useless as well.
Crappy books must be magic from the heavens to! On the bright side, young children are
already getting a college education, just not paying tens of thousands for it! Hurray!!

Stunningly ignorant. I guess if the tides can be a mystery, though, so can electricity.

Advance warning: this thread will be quickly locked if it becomes disrespectful.

But surely, Forty, we're ALL descended from Darwin?

not sure what you meant ash. i was just referring to the fact that survival of the fittest and favoritism don't necessarily apply to humans, as Fraggle suggested. I don't mean any disrespect to people of faith; having faith is just fine. But no one should ever take the bible quite so literally.

It was a joke, Forty.

'Darwinists believe we're all descended from Charles Darwin.'

I should have followed it with a smily face cheesey

Did you know that, during the debate in Parliament about 'On The Origin of Species', one of the questions asked was 'Is the ape that Darwin claims to be descended from on his father's side of the family, or his mother's?'. (And that's no joke.)

"Others think that the movement of the earth produce some of it "

o hell, they didn't even capitalize the E for Earth (unless they're talking about earth as in dirt/soil)

this can't be real.
