Haha, yes it arced from the bolt screwed into the caps terminal. I got quite a fright when that happened, especially since that cap cost nearly $100!! But it survived unharmed and now will never be allowed near the NST again, haha.
Nothing like close calls to teach you a lesson :)

Sorry for the double post, just finished my El'Cheapo HV 4.4M Ohm resistor consisting of 144 1/4W's and surprisingly, it works flawlessly:
