I relly can't leave 4HV. Because I have no friends in life BECAUSE of my love for high voltage, I need to be on a forum that supports it. So in a way, the internet is my lifeline when it comes to friends, and, along with YouTube, has brought me happiness and something to look forward to when coming home from school, because all my friends, such as but not limited to gren, killa, kizmo, avi, alf, and sometimes even bjorn, and erlend-se, and almost all the community treat me so much kinder than the amount of kindness I recieve in school. I guess I was sort of pissed yesterday, but honestly, leaving this site is almost like asking me to leave part of my mind behind, part of my social life. I'm sorry I said what I said about you joshua. I know I have a hard time keeping on topic but im just 14! in a year or so I will get used to it. I just do not know much about HV, only about 10 months have I been looking at it, and not since june have I really paid attention to learning about electronics. when I know more than your average american about electronics, I must be the dumbest person on this site so I cant really relate to what is being said on the IRC. Well, I am in an electronics class now in school, so I will be much better informed by the end of the school year. and they have to more years of it! Hee hee TeslaGirl is back online. I really can't hold a grudge or be mad for long, it is not my personality. :D

Most of us have been in this position at one point or another. I, for one, still have a LOT to learn; if you don't understand something it's best just to ask smile

And just because youre into HV doesn't mean you can't have friends IRL.
Personally, I think friends are one of the most important things to have, real life more so than the internet because knowing someone through text and a computer screen just isn't the same as knowing them IRL

Agreed! If you have trouble making friends i've found that joining after school clubs that interest you is a good way to meet people. And if there are not any clubs that you like, then start one. My good friend started an FTC robotics club and I have met a lot of people through it that are interested in electronics.

problem with that is not all schools have people who are interested in such things saddly

i go to a rather large school (over 1000 people) but theres not enough people interested to start a club up
(then again im in a school that most of the kids are throw aways from other schools :/ )

but its worth a try i think

I never realized there was a chatroom.
but don't worry if you need to ask a lot of questions, i, for one, enjoy teaching and explaining.
you don't need a lot of friends in life, just a few good ones. and at your age, you might not of even met them yet.

Both of you (Tom and HVC) should put something up on the notice board, or whatever they use these days, and see if there is any interest. You might be surprised.
