Does anyone here remember jumping jacks?
They where folded accordian style, burnt slowly on the lengths, then BANG and jumped like crazy on the more compact folded bits :)

Fireworks with square bases or that are rectangular blocks are usually the most spectacular (and often expensive) so they make for a great end-of-the-evening. Best bang for your buck? I wouldn't know, I don't have to buy my own. Only good thing about being underage!

I used to love using my 37mm Flare launcher, especially with the bird bombs. Talk about a big boom and flash of light.

^Now THAT is a firework! I imagine a 50 cal sniper rifle would be pretty impressive anyway.
Part Scavenger, my friends and I have had many good times with water dynamite. Definetly a good buy.
A neat way to use the round ball smoke bombs is to fire them out of a small PVC gun. About five or six years ago I started making "carrot guns" out of juice bottles, ball valves, and PVC pipe. Over the years they got more complex and now my friend and I have our customized guns with interchangeable barrels, semiauto gumball attachments, and capacitor-actuated valves. Anyway, we found the round smoke bombs fit perfectly inside a 1 1/4" PVC pipe barrel. Just get them going, ram them down the barrel, and fire!
By far the best bang for your buck is dry ice bombs. When we were younger me and a buddy of mine rolled one down a street drain just to see what it would sound like. Unfortunately we didn't think about the fact that everyone's plumbing was connected... Every neighbor on the culdesac came out saying they heard a really weird noise come out of all their drains and bathtubs.

Holy sh*t man! What do you guys hunt out there in the stinking desert? You would have to scrape whatever it was you shot off the nearby rocks and trees!

Certainly good bang/buck ratio....even if each round cost $5... How 'bout a film of that propane bottle! tongue
