Since I'm lazy, cut'n'paste from the junkbox

I have for sale two Maxwell pulse caps, price is for one. I got them second hand, never used them, they had been refilled with oil before I bought them. Selling because I will never get round to starting the monster coil I had in mind for these, I'm instead going for a much smaller VTTC and I need funds for it! One of the caps is missing its label, first buyer gets the labelled capacitor.

Exact readings off the label:

Cat No. : 31159
Capacitance: .15uF
Voltage: 50kV
Measured Cap: .154 uF
Equiv Series Ind: .02uH
Serial No. : 45214

PRICE IS FOR ONE CAPACITOR, PRICE IS POSSIBLY NEGOTIABLE, TRADES WELCOME. I need things like (smaller) capacitors, wire (0.4mm would be really great), toploads, variacs, etc

Wow, thats a lot of energy, I calculate that as 187500 joules.

Where is such a capacitor used?
