So I got a bunch of logic gate chips in the mail a couple days ago, and I'm actually excited about it.
I seriously can't wait to find a cool project or a good idea and use them, I already have an idea for a nor gate for the clock, and I'm like a kid on Christmas eve wanting to try it out!!
I haven't felt this way since I got my oscilloscope on Christmas!

Am I alone in this...
Please tell me no...

[EDIT]
considering I have the maturity of a 4 year old on Christmas eve, but the age to stay up and work on it, I got it to work (blinking colon)
I'm going to bed a happy man. :D

Nah, you're not. I got a package of stuff from Jrz126 a few days ago, and I swear I was literally squealing the entire time I unwrapped the package. xDD

unfortunately my mom is tired of the card board boxes overflowing with stuff, so i need to find some better (free) containers...

Got my package of long M cells from hong kong, (once they finally shipped, only took a single day!) And they even showed up a day earlier then fedex estimated, so they caught me by surprise. I tore into that package like It was christmas morning.

Ah, the joys of opening packages.
Nothing beats going 30 miles by subway, train, bus, and taxi on a snowy day to pick up a box of 25 bricks smile Instant gratification.

That's an expensive battery pack - about USD 600 ? 160Ah @ 3.2V or 16Ah at 32V.

With 160A peak discharge per cell, you could make a mean coil gun with those...

Dont buy your cells from batteryspace, you gotta buy from who they buy from ;)

Link2
$25 each, including mounting hardware batteryspaces charges $2.70 for

Shipping is pricy, but im not complaining given how fast the shipping was.

And its going into a 16AH 32v pack, to run a light that pulls ~400W that I'm slowly putting together.

Didnt say lamp ;) it'll be a portable light. And if I feel like messing about with it in the future, I could also throw the pelican case on the back of a small electric scooter or ebike, and it'll be fine for that.
