They are boutique items ... 190$ for a Royer in a nice case with external fuse and a grounded control panel represents a huge margin over component costs, but it's not an unreasonable price IMO.
Too much for us nutters who don't mind having an exposed HV supply on experiment board lying on the workbench ... but still not an unreasonable price.

I would buy one of those but it's from USA.
I'm really impatient when it comes to shipping, I recently had a free laser given to me, for doing a review of it, it was from DinoDirect, I can't wait it;s been like 7 days.
