Hmm, I just want to order from UK, I can't stand waiting for anything, I'm impatient when it comes to postage.

If anyone from UK can make me a beefy ZVS, I'll pay nicely.

Information Unlimited and Eastern Voltage Research are the only ones who commercially sell these kinds of hobbyist HV supplies AFAIK.

My thread says, buy, not make.
Yes, but also, your thread to buy a flyback driver is in the high voltage forum. cheesey

But anyway, if you can't find anywhere else to buy one i could make one and sell it for about the cost of the components + shipping. However, you have to tell me how much power you want and which kind of driver you prefer. However, you will have to have your own DC power supply (unless you want me to include that in the price wink )

I'd make you one but I live in the U.S. If you have the money, why don't you just buy a soldering tip too? It's fun to build them (except when they heat up a bunch and you're not sure why)

I'm in the UK. I'll make you a Mazilli ZVS driver if you want for the cost of the parts plus postage. PM me if you are interested.

Is there anywhere I can buy a completed flyback driver, like ZVS, or 555?

I would make it but I need to buy a few new soldering tips.

I've tried CFL's they suck, I've tried high power lighting/halogen transformers, but they overheat or end up blowing up.

you could use a 12 volt halogen power supply , the electronic one,you just have to make few turn around the core of your fly-back and plug it instead of the halogen , start with 6 turn and go down to 3 min ,it's a good driver for some one who don't have a working soldering iron smile

Information unlimited probably stays in business by selling 1 kit a year.

I'd make one for you platinum, but I'm working on 3 projects right now, and I'm about to start a fourth.
