This was a OBT.

I don't know if they have the same problem as with NSTs.

No hard feelings, I'm not one to hold a grudge.

(I also burned out the OBT right after the experiment)

No, not the Edison Effect. The lamp glass in this experiment is heated in
a bath to near incandescence and sodium ions are attracted by the filament.
from the glass, and are replenished by the bath which has free metaliic
sodium . It is actually a very old elegant demonstration of electrolysis.
Its not very safe to do.
