SOLD OUT

Before we begin, I'm Trevor over at LPF. Some of you here know me I believe.

I pulled about 90 of these beauties from a few industrial uninterruptible power supplies. As you might be able to guess, they're taking up scads of space.

Ratings

Lots Of Caps

I have not personally tested them since HV scares me, so I'm just selling them as-is. They've obviously acquired a bit of grime from being used; I'll clean them up before shipping.

I'd like $3 each, plus shipping. I can cut a deal if you want a bunch of them to play with. Three will comfortably fit in a USPS medium flatrate box, properly packed.

Do you perhaps want to try trades? I have semiconductor devices I'd like to get rid of for those caps!

I'm open to trades, but am strapped for cash. So... shipping could be an adventure. ><

Guess it depends on what you're offering; HV really isn't my thing unfortunately.

Well, I only need a few, not a lot. 6 or 3 of the caps would do fine.

and, I understand HV isn't your thing. I have mosfets, IGBT's, BJT's, all sorts of goodies. They're not limited to just hv stuff I hope you know!

You could try and build an amplifier or something along those lines with the BJT's.

I understand your fear, if you dont understand capacitors and more importantly how to handle a charged power capacitor that holds a bit of joules,i can see where your coming from. However,i never had a pulled capacitor going to scrap, not work. I would but some, but I myself have a ton pulled from being scrapped. You could test that none are sorted out ay least, not sure if it's needed, but maybe 20 volts in, so you can see how it hold the charge... Good luck though selling!

I'm in Richmond, VA. I can go weigh one at the post office this evening. smile

Conservatively, I'd say 8oz each.

Mm.... I could send extra stuff to compensate for shipping... Or alternatively, I could wait till you sold some, got money, then use some of that for shipping...

:D?
