On the other hand, those who gave away all their possessions are going to look fairly silly in the morning.

On the flip side, maybe if all the PS3's vent with flame on the stroke of midnight... Nah, thats silly even for a Dan Brown novel.

You guys are too dammed funny!

I'm really jealous of Dr. H with the BMG 50 though.. I always liked that one, although I would want a bigger magazine then 5 shots.

Anyway, good luck to you all, I have to battle the infamous 405 freeway in a bit here, which is like trying to drive through a sea of zombies at times, it really is a bad freeway.

I heard it wasn't supposed to end till 6, so just because you don't make it to midnight doesn't mean you're good.

Yay! Looks like the world has escaped destruction once again. It's 9am here.

Ash, yep, looks like you have proved it conclusively either way :) it is a version of the grandfather paradox which many people take as an argument that time travel must be impossible. In other words, if effects could happen before their causes as well as afterwards, the world as we know it couldn't exist.

Stuffing P90, AK47, M16 and a few M1A clips, just in case it gets a little crazy. Have the front and back of the house covered. If you like, can come over and watch the sides of the house. Even going to break out the old 50 CAL BMG (Dr. H favorite) with some AP rounds @ Link2 .

Armed and ready,
Dr. Spark.

Ok, I get you doc!
To me, the end of the world means a worldwide mystery disease, a meteor hitting earth, or something on a larger geological scale, like volcano eruptions worldwide, or even the sun exploding. Something along those lines....

But to you, it is the day they come to take your loved guns from you.
Well, Don't you worry! my superman suit is back from the drycleaners, flightplan has been filed, and I am airborne! Coming to your rescue. I will protect that back facade of yours with my life! wink
