A twin MOT Tesla should be plenty impressive- It must have either not been tuned correctly or wires were to long, or caps weren't good or something to that effect. If you still have that design, I say post some details, and maybe someone can help firgure out a couple bugs.

so two ought to be scary indeed From these pictures, you might also be able to imagine why we like to hide all the components as low down as possible. One of my good pulse capacitors got struck by a streamer in the second picture.
