I don't know why everyone is so closed minded. Skeptical I can understand, but to pretty much refuse this is possible is just ignorant. Like the Pons and Fleischman debacle, what could they have wanted from publishing their findings? To be banished. It's because no one else could repeat the experiment, although it seems that maybe the intention was never there in the first place.
Something I found that may support the consumption of the nickel.

We're being practical ...

Extra-ordinary claims with extra-ordinary secrecy and extra-ordinarily poorly controlled caloric measurements == almost certain fraud or self delusion.

What extra-ordinary secrecy? Because he hasn't revealed the catalyst? Once the patent is granted, the replication can begin.
I choose to keep an open mind until then.
I really do not see how fraud can be an issue, investors set themselves up behind all manner of legal firewalls, that's their business. This isn't peddling
tricks with a loaded die on a street corner.

Im not saying this isnt posssible, I would gladly admit that this is a profoud breakthrough if true, its just i have seen to many scams get this far the dissappear to never be reportedon again.

I would like to see a power generation solution to the humanities energy needs, both current and the projected acceleration of usage in the coming decades.

Can you name these supposed scams that have appeared and then disappeared? Of course everyone is going to say Stanley Meyer as if it has been proven that it was a scam. People disappearing after supposedly inventing a revolutionary new power source is no proof of a scam. People who disappear with other peoples money after promising something fanastical would be proof.

Does anyone know how he turns the device off?

If he puts 300 thermal watts input to get the device going, that produces 2+kW thermal then he would have to increase waterflow greatly to drive the temp down below what ever is needed for the critical catalyzer temp. has anyone seen this procedure? unless he allows the chemistry to continue to extinction.

just wondering... i find it interesting that he uses a cord plugged in the whole time, it should run with the cord disconnected, and the flow rate low, and still show a net increase of heat oupt put.

not sure if anyone else rasied these points so please correct me if you think different.

The move upward from a table top proof-of-concept device to a 1 MW generator, would not be accomplished without first constructing a pilot plant of intermediate size.

Delegation and the division of labour into specialist engineering teams together with a civil planning and policy staff to coordinate and negotiate such things as planning permission and conformity to safety and environmental regulations which would all be required at the 1 MW level.

Yes , i agree. he is exceeding the reasonable developemental standards normally demanded of unproven technology.

But does anybody know how he turns it off?
