Ah, the nuvistor. The last generation of tubes. These were used in high frez, low powered circuits. These can fech around $15 on ebay, if you're lucky. VTTC? These things process less than a watt!
Could you list the model of the scope and what parts?

Andre, have you got any sockets for the nuvistors? I wouldn't mind trying them for my guitar amp experiments, but the pins are so small, they're feckin impossible to use without sockets. :(

I have one... not even sure if its for a nuvistor.
I can check the other boxes though. BTW a possible fix is to improvise a socket using Polymorph, some turned pin IC sockets with soldered wires, a spare Nuvistor and s heat gun..
Did this once to make some custom phone hack, worked fine.

A fourm member might offer to test them on a tube tester, for now, you could check filliments using a Multimeter and the datasheet. I have a friend that might be able to check them
