heck yea, but if I can buy lengths of it online that might work better, or chunks online, since my dad has always refused to buy things on forums in the past.
@james, any idea who has the best prices on wire? and it will probably be more economical to plate copper wire... (& isn't defacing money illegal )
and on that like earlier I didn't see where it said how to get silver from keyboards...
when it gets closer to actually doing this I'm also going to ask my chem teacher, I think he likes me, any might let me dissolve a bit of silver nitrate and plate the mesh... if he does it wont be enough to look good though...

I dunno where the best prices are, but I found titanium wire on amazon, so it's worth looking there for silver. Technically I think it is illegal to deface money, but I doubt the FBI is gonna bust down your door for grinding up a coin.
Some solder has a few percent of silver in it. I have some that I use for refrigeration plumbing but I forget where I got it.
