I have the same opinion !!!

But I have to agree with the other comments in this thread, if you absolutely must try some illegal drug, weed is probably your safest bet, as opposed to some synthetic crap with God knows what in it.
I think you mean "least dangerous"...

First,
As for the synthetic Mary Jane, the guy who invented it said that he wishes he didnt, and that anyone who takes it for this purpose, is crazy. his words not mine. If I remember right he is a medical researcher who used it for different purposes from the normal marjuana he and others usually use on animals, which would allow instrumentation to see different brain functions of rats.

Second Point:
I am not an organic chemist, but if i recall, from chemistry PH.d's who lecture at various colleges I've attended, have said that the mode of death seems to be a mixed bag, but that interfering with neurochemistry can cause the loss of CNS from the lower functions of the brain, thus a loss of heart rate (too high or too low) and or the loss of breathing (also too high or too low) and extreme body heat above 107F. This seems to be under debate, but I'd tend to believe that this kind of chemistry would have long-term chronic circulatory (liver, kidneys, blood) damage issues, apparent later in life. While the acute short-term injury seems to be Brain/CNS, even if death does not occur. In the medical peer reviewed literature, some of this either cant be supported, or is debated, largely because this is a new form of drug abuse that medicine has'nt caught up too yet.

Third Point:
If you want to keep kids off drugs, the scare tactics are worthless, I grew up with them too. make your kids listen to the mainiac/idiot callers on "Loveline" radio show. Or, if your a parent find Dr. Drew Pinsky's work, (radio, TV, books, articles etc.). If you think he's a quack or profiteer, then find other addictionologists who are qualified, these are the ways to keep kids from using drugs.

*I hope I spelled "addictionologists" right.

EDIT: Yes, I did.

This makes sense because the Doctor who was speaking to us said some people had serious effects days or even weeks after taking it.

I was told by a reformed drug user, who was then brought with a uniformed officer and medical doctor, they spoke about the hazards of using drugs to a crowd of us High School students.

The former user said that if a person uses GHB or MMDA and was still feeling effects the next day or so, that they should go to the ER, and that these drugs effects after several half-lives should be gone. And that if any of us felt or saw strange things, that this was a sign of brain damage.

I wonder what mitagation they do in the ER (push chemistry-to reverse the effect by titration?), maybe just watch you and protect you from yourself, psychosis? I dont know if the usuall brain scans (MRI) would be uesful for chemistry related brain injury.

The medical doctor did not refute any of this, so I guess this is true, it at least sounds plausible. (maybe this particular doctor was an idiot.)

ha yes, the doctor who talked to us said they usually just watch over the patient for 6 - 24 hours and make sure they do not further harm themselves or anyone else, sedating them if necessary.

OK, thats what I was thinking too, since stimulants cause sensory increasing type conditions people can be prone to overstimulation from lights, music, smells, and the feel of stucco or sand paper. I guess they calm the person down, isolate and just watch for overdose, suicide, psychosis and other conditions drug users are prone to have.
