How high do you guys think the price of gas will be this summer?
I have heard a lot of rumors saying that it will be be over $7 in some places!
I would buy a Moped but Wisconsin winters tend to be quite nasty mistrust

over 7$/gal? That is pretty cheap compared to what we pay for fuel here cheesey

Gas:
95 octane 10% ethanol 1.629eur/litre or $8.912/gal
98 octane "normal gas" 1.679eur/litre or $9.186/gal

Diesel is 1.409eur/litre or $7.711/gal

mad

I think we will see 1.8-2eur/litre sooner or later

Yes, it's slightly more here when the euro exchange rate is allowed for.

Gas is over $4/gallon in my city, not fun when my car costs about $70 to fill up :(

When weather (and destinations) permit I've been biking instead of driving to cut down on gas expenses, and I've cut down my typical freeway driving speed to 65mph (from 75-80) which I found boosted me from 30miles/gallon to at least 35miles/gallon.

$7 sounds a bit high for this summer, but I'm sure we'll get there before too long in the USA.

Here in Ontario gas is 1.34 per liter (that's 5.28 US per Gallon) We get hosed hard on gas prices considering that the Canadian dollar is pretty much par with the US.

Will probably exceed $5/gal this summer, all the more reason I love my motorbike.

Rising fuel cost, have a feeling you will see more bikes on the road indeed

Motorcycles and scooters are always the most popular means of transportation here in Taiwan.
Taiwan has 23 million people and more than 10 million scooters.

The gas price in Taiwan is about 33NTD per liter(equals to about to 1.1USD per liter)
