Hmm., has anyone considered that this particular site might be a social engineering attack to spread rogue antivirus apps?

I had a look elsewhere and the "secret sauce" seems to be based on a special disk with lines cut into it so that the current travels around the edge of it rather than the "easy" path through the radius.
Seems to be basically the same as a Faraday homopolar generator but optimised to generate higher voltages rather than the usual 0.1V at tens of amps which would make extracting power from the system a lot easier.

An analogy would be connecting a hundred or so Faraday generators in series but with only a single set of brushes,

It did mention that Tesla wanted "a material 1000 times more conductive than copper" but never found one.

One can only speculate what Tesla would have achieved if he had discovered YBCO or one of the higher Tc materials.

Here is the schematic presented in the video, if anyone seriously wants to give it a try:

1301954124 1 FT112371 Yeahright

Parts:

D1-D4: Germanium diodes, 1N34
C1, C2: Capacitors, ceramic, 0.2uF 50V
C3, C4: Capacitors, electrolytic, 100uF 50V
Optional: Disbelief in the basic principles of science, strong hatred of "big energy," tinfoil hat

The antenna is not described. Presumably it's just a long piece of wire, as high off the ground as possible, to harvest the "cosmic rays."

Looks to me like a really crappy rectenna.

;-)

This has been around since the 70s. There was a "sky energy" project in there, using the same components. I think it was called 44 power supplies something something.

It just uses radio waves. It might even work as a bad crystal radio if you did some modification.

does it even harvest enough radio waves to power a small LED?

When a website asks me if I want to leave it I get mad at the internets.
