SSTC 5 saga continues...
I made new driver board with just basic driver... ucc37321, ucc37322 and 74hc14 +antenna. Interrupt signal comes from separate circuit Link2
Problem is that UCC37321 gets smoking hot and blows up.

I'm surprised the 74LS14 doesn't blow up either, seeing as it gets 12 volts from the 555.

You have the UCC pins 2 and 3 reversed. Pins 2 on the UCC's have to go to the Interrupter circuit and pins 3 on the UCC's have to go to the feedback circuit.

Correction. Disregard the above post. You have them the right way.

i changed my design a little. For interrupter i use Steves interupter

and optic fiber transmitter TOTX173. Im also running interrupter from 5volts.

Driver is basicly the same as Polonium210 driver.

It uses TORX173 as optic rceiver.
