There is a substantial difference in pre-judgment and bigotry. To experience and find oneself exhibiting prejudice is simply to pre-judge a situation or person prior to achieving more information. Bigotry on the other hand is to actually believe that someone has characteristics specific to their humanity despite what may be available as alternative evidence.

When I ever experienced someone who used the expression "big-words" or something to that effect, I knew (obviously) that their vocabulary was a bit stunted.

In this case it means words with more than about four letters in.

I would use the term syllables, but I don't want to add to the confusion cheesey

This is ironic.

Big words is an expression used for a large vocabulary term. Something that a simple, regular person wouldn't understand.
