I think pusled dc can drive the cw voltage multiplier. I have done it with a disposable camera board before.

And unless the frequency of the AC is very high, and the CW is very well constructed, you're not going to be able to draw appreciable currents from the CW.

I made this driver. It is powered by a 9v battery. It driver a small xformer(walwart). What i noticed using the multimeter was that the xformer was giving both ac and dc. How is that possible?

Multimeters can interpret ripple on a DC supply as AC voltage, and if you try to measure AC voltage with the meter set to DC it will give confusing readings.
A ZVS driver will run on 6V if you use mosfets with a suitably low gate saturation voltage. You could also build a Royer oscillator using bipolar transistors. If you want more voltage you can always connect two 6V batteries in series too.
