Just found a very very radioactive clock (>4000CPM on my Bull Elec dual tube counter) which seems to be radium based.

It makes the counter beep on its highest setting!

Where did you find it?

I need to find time to build a counter around the Russian GM tube I picked up a while back. I'd love to find some more radioactive odds & ends. I don't even know why it's so fascinating.

4000 CPM from what distance?

And I'm all out of tritium tubes now, but I'll try and get some more.
