They aren't that bright sadly, you'll need something brighter like a tritium map reader, and those usually run about $150. Those aren't exactly the brightest thing either though...
Tubes like these would be best used as markers, for trails, zippers, treestands, switches, fishing bobbers/poles, things like that. They are bright enough to see very easily, but they are not bright enough to read a book by. At least I can't read a book by them, not more than one line at a time at least.

It is. Assuming the big one contains 2 curies of tritium, that's 74,000,000,000 atoms decaying a second. Now for only half to be gone in 12 years well... thats a lot of atoms.

I'm open to trades now. Plastic AC flybacks, HV capacitors/CWs things like that are fine with me. I'll aslo trade for other items if they are cool enough.
