Well thanks!

Do you know how I can stop corona forming around the 2nd coil?

And I will soon have a more powerful flyback driver (105watts driver) upped from my 11watt CFL ballast (lol 11watts), so I'm going to make a bigger coil, where can I buy or find sutable wire? for say a 12" tall coil.

Thanks!

Buy wire from Ebay/Nebraska Surplus or salvage it from a CRT or a MO cooling fan.
Since you are doing this with a flyback, your main issue will be finding suitable capacitors. TC's put a lot of stress on caps (near 100% voltage reversal at 100's of pps!), and at higher powers, many capacitors are lossy and will fail because of dielectric breakdown, overheating, or both. It is even more troublesome when you don't know how high the charging voltage is (I assume you have not measured the output from your flyback yet). Your best bet is a bottle capacitor (inefficient and free), an MMC (cheap-ish, efficient, and reliable), or a commercial pulse cap (expensive unless you find one in a dumpster).

My firsy coil was from a CRT too. I dont think it was enough for a large coil, I'll have to buy some.

And yes I have made 1 lucozade bottle cap but is one good enough?

or do I have to make more and wire them in series?

Thanks!

I have also made another coil it looks and work much better, as the input is 11watt with a 1kv cap, only had 7odd streamers.

You'll probably want several in parallel.
A 1KV cap is not going to last very long at higher powers; the fact that it did not instantaneously fail at 11W surprises me.

WHAT ABOUT THESE CAPS FOR TC ?!!
Link2
I MADE A BUNCH OF THEM AND I THINK THEY ARE BETTER THAN BOTTLE CAPS.(HIGHER CAPACITY WITH LOWER WEIGHT AND AREA).

Those work too, but bottle caps are trivial to make.

Coat it with Polyurathane.Several coats should help.
so I'm going to make a bigger coil, where can I buy or find sutable wire?

I have gotten wire from the back of the CRT in old TV's and old monitors.
