It sounds like my little VTTC will have some upgrade opportunities in the future. So should I build a smaller secondary for the 811a's then use the 4.5" for the 572b's or will the 811a's still shine with that big of a secondary?

As dr spark said be careful with the input voltage. I already killed a few 811a's.
Good idea with the 572b's. I will be upgrading to a staccato controller and a 3400v transformer soon myself so I will give them a try

This is the secondary I plan on using. I kinda like the white and this poor coil was looking sad setting over in the corner.

You won't need anything quite that large for the 811's but I am curious to see your outcome

I figured it would a little big. Well since I'm going to wind another coil I think I'm going to use Litz wire.
