I'm planning on building scopeboy's 555 flyback driver, and I made up a circuit layout with eaglecad. The thing is, I'd like someone to double check two things for me: -Did I make any careless mistakes? I have a tendency to. Sigh. -Is the layout appropriate? I'm not really happy with how the power traces go under a fair number of components, but I'm trying to make it as compact as possible.

Oh, that I know: I'm not actually going to print this as a PCB, I'm just using it to get the layout right. DOn't have the chemicals and equipment for etching.

this is the easiest way to make pc boards i've made a couple using this method you don't need weird chemicals, the weirdest chemical is liquid tin, but you don't need to use that i just tined it with a soldering gun. its super easy
all you need is 99% isapropal alchohol
ferric chloride (witch is a pool chemical and can be found anywhere hot tubes and other pools and pool supplies are sold)
liquid tin (optional) the replacement for this is to tin the copper on the board with a soldering gun and abuch of solder.
a clothing iron (for taking wrinkles out of clothes)
