Rat poison is probably better for you. Warfarin can be used medicinally, but the label on a Buckfast bottle has a disclaimer to the effect that it's not actually good for curing anything. smile

Down Conundrum's way in the Channel Islands, they probably make Jagerbombs with 25 year old port.

Now that's an idea!
Incidentally, the last time I had some Buckie I rather liked it. A friend imported it for me all the way from Glasgow to London (where I lived at the time) because he thought it would suit my character. That was nigh 20 years ago and I'm not dead yet (but the Jaeger and Port might fix that)
I heard, from the same guy, that many "sherry" decanters in the less affluent, but more pretentious houses "up North" are actually full of Buckie.

I've enjoyed a glass or two of Port on occasion but there are a great deal of different tastes out there....

It's easy to make light of the problem until you see the so-called "Buckie Bath" used for the treatment of refractory Buckfast Syndrome at the Glasgow Institute for the Criminally Insane as late as 1972:

Neither have any of the other contributors, a sure sign of the progressive neuronal loss typical of Buckfast Syndrome.
