Alfons, can you post a small German C program? I'd like to see it.

No; since I'm not German myself; you should ask it to Reaching, MadGyver or some other German member.

English is my mothertongue, but I can also read and write a fair bit of Latin (reading is easier than writing though; I'm terrible at the grammar). Latin is of course completely useless as a language in modern society, although great for understanding where the English language (and other romance languages) came from.

Je ne parle pas francais. (I don't speak French. Hah.) I took three years of it but I forgot most everything. Except how to say what my name is, and a few other words and phrases here and there.

I'm jealous of multi-lingual people. I'd love to fluently know a (useful) second language.

I got Latin at school for about 4 years, but I don't remember anything of it. Indeed it makes it a lot easier to learn French, Spanish etc...; although there are some major differences.
As I said, I don't know much about it anymore, but I don't regret the fact that I spent 4 years of my life learning it cheesey

Natively I speak English, or "Canadian", but in the last few years Norwegian has become equally native. My pronunciation is just a bit rusty. Danish and Swedish are close enough to Norwegian that I consider myself nearly fluent in them as well. I have taken french on and off since grade four, but in the last 6 months I've finally had enough of it to start understanding things. My french is still pretty primitive though... As for programming languages, I learned a little flash, but programming is just not my thing. I'm getting into PICs now, so I'll see how that goes.

English isn't a Romance language, it's Germanic.
