So folks, I have 14 of these shunt stabilizer tetrodes collecting dust. They can produce x-rays with a really tiny focal spot!

Price I'm asking is 10€/tube+PP

Here's some info on producing x-rays with this particular tube: Link2 (page made by another member here)

Each tube comes with it's own datasheet written in russian, they're all NOS (new old stock)

I am very interested! The only 2 questions are, would shipping top the USA be possible/worthwhile? Also, is a cashiers check/money order acceptable?

If you prefer paypal, which i think i would too, i can try to get a new paypal. I need one tongue.

Been looking for one for awhile now for X-ray production smile.

Been looking for one for awhile now for X-ray production smile.

Shipping to USA would be 8.70€, without tracking/insurance, not a problem for me to send it since it's just a matter of packing it and go to postoffice and fill out CN-22 customs declaration and send away! smile

I prefer paypal despite many people is against it, it has worked for me so far!

These tube are really great for x-ray production, they produce a ton of x-radiation. smile

I recommend getting atleast 2 of these tubes initially unless you're really confident that you wont break the first tube while experimenting...

I had the same mentality until they stole 200 bux. Now I use google checkout and have had no problems. Plus their fees are way less than pp's.

Anyway I'm interested, but all my money is going t'words buying a dental head. Hopefully you'll have a few left for me when I do get one.

There's probably going to be some left, I don't think they're going so fast to be honest. smile

That's good, that is around 11 bucks for shipping and 13 bucks per toob in USD. Cheapest i have ever seen these tubes is 9 bucks used.

Anyway, do you think 2 or 3 tubes would cost any more in shipping? I should be buying these in December, for a Christmas gift to myself smile. Hopefully they are still around by then. If so, i am 90% sure i will be buying from you. Even if i found a new tube on eBay for 9 bucks, i would still rather buy them from someone i regularly hear from.

I think it would be too heavy to go under 250grams for 3 tubes atleast, the next is under 500grams and that costs 14.55€ to send to US (9.70€ in EU).

I'm not really trying to make a profit on these tubes, I just wanna get rid of them and I don't wanna loose the money that I've spent on them... smile

Keep an eye on this thread, it will be updated on how many tubes there's left.

It can be used to what it was originally designed to be: high-voltage stabiliser. smile

I really don't know much about vacuum tubes so maybe someone with more knowledge will come along and have ideas...
Here's the datasheet, in russian ofcourse: Link2
