Programs for a win98 laptop

Hi,

I've got this Compaq Armada M300 which I finally managed to fix. It hasn't got a CD- or floppydrive nor network connectivity, but that isn't really a problem, since I want to use it as a Lab-Top tongue
Therefore I'm looking for some programs which I can install on it, such as compilers, mathematical programs and any electronics-, chemistry- or biology-related programs, preferabely free- or abandonware.

Any suggestions?

I would recommend you grab the 'dos circuit design software' from my website (see sig).

It's a DOS application, but it calculates just about everything you could need - LC networks, wire resistance, inductance, 555 circuits, etc etc... Just unzip and run 'ecd.exe'.

As for compilers, the only free one I would ever use is the GNU C compiler - Link2

PCB design and circuit diagram drawing - Link2 - they offer a freeware version.
