Avatar sizes

As of now it have to be striking upwards :)
I hope most of the users here are running atleast 1024 width, so it should'nt be a problem with horizontal scrolling.

I can't answer definitively for Chris Russell, but given the emergence of netbooks and PDAs, I would argue that a space-conscious design is even more important now than it once was. I think 200px would displace far too much text, even on a screen like the netbook I'm on now (1280x600).
The Avatar really is meant more as a means of visual identification, rather than a place to show off projects.
