garndening+ electronic

okay I am a avid gardener as much as I love electronics. I got this idea out of bionics for the evil genius. The setup is a tesla coil I hacked up and wire to a variac. The voltage is set at 6 volts with a 50 ohm resistor in line for current limiting. Inside is a tomato plant. when the coil is checked with my cell sensor it is over 50 milligaus. I do have control plants. As much as I admire tesla sometimes you just gotta do a edison and try it your self

So this is to find out if a magnetic field affects a plant's growth? Sounds like an admirable experiment to me.

But remember being in that tube the tiny plant will be in the shade much more than control plants...

Maybe have 2 plants (ideally more) in front of a wall thing and behind one plant you could put an electromagnet.
Just an idea

Or keep the test plant the same and put control plant in a de-energized tube.
