new multi spark gap idea

I was brainstorming some ways on how to make a simple multi spark gap. I came up with the idea of yousing like 4 sparkplugs in a series at lets say 1mm per gap that would make a 1-4mm spark gap. You think it is a good idea?

I think it has been done before... If you try it, remember to get plugs with no internal resistor. Would brobably work on a small coil.

I made spark gap from two spark plugs. I did it little differently, i lathed outer electrode and almost all of the thread away to reveal ceramic insulator enough. It works very well and can take huge loads of power like tungsten rods. Center electrode of plugs is tungsten or something similar.

If you do this, you have to use new and clean high quality plugs!

If you look around ebay you can usually find 1/4" diameter pure tungsten rods that are fairly affordable,
I think they're excellent.
