I tried making a vttc since i was pretty much bored out by the tube ih project so i took steve ward´s vttc 3 using 304TL as my secondary happened to match his, and it worked on first try!!

Nice! Those 304TL's do run red! I almost picked up one at the last local hamfest, then I saw how much people were asking for them (new): ~$100. WHAT?! They are neat looking, though.
While watching the video, I couldn't help but wonder a few times whether you knew you had the camera turned on
Cheers,

Your camera work reminds me of the Blair VTTC Project.

Nice coil.. but really, couldn't you just set the camera still somewhere? And what are all the scary sounds in first video
'have any info on the circuit? I didn't notice a feedback coil on it. Capacitive feedback from that copper ring around the base?

Look above. I said it was a direct ripoff of steve ward´s vttc2.
