ceramic terminal/insulator for transformer

Does anyone know where I can get as close as an identical replacement for a ceramic insulated terminal for a Franceformer? I shattered one. I've looked on Ebay but didn't see anything close. Anyone know of a supply outlet or do I have to scrap a non-function unit and cannibalize the parts?

Identical: scrap only

Usable: HHSmith/ Bisco But you can't really browse their catalog because you need the part number. They are a good source of insulators though.

Can you post a pic of the insulator type you need? Im assuming its the HV terminal? Im going back to my parents house this weekend where i have a stash of old NST insulators (many are france and still have the mounting part in tact). If its the larger france type, then i might just have what you need. Anyway, send a pic and dimensions and i will check out what i have that looks in good condition.

I got all of my insulators by cannibalizing dead NSTs. I used to de-pot them, clean them up, and they would work again. The franceformers were particularly good for this reason, since you could take the cores apart and swap in other secondaries.

Speak to Franceformer directly. There sales reps are really good for getting parts like this. They may just send you a pair.
